CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK

 On Thursday 6th February Year 6 held a bake sale to raise money for Place2Be, the mental health charity and they raised over £100! The Year 6 pupils baked many of the cakes themselves.

Thank you to everyone who provided delicious bakes for us to sell or came along to buy one.

Science Week 2026

Last week we celebrated our annual Science Week, and WHAT A WEEK IT WAS! The children, from preschool to Year 6, were immersed in science learning for the week, both in and out of school, and were able to experience science first hand, in ways that normally would only happen in museums and pupil science events!  From trips to VR Headset experiences; animal encounters to parent and community scientist visits and experiments; from research around our school grounds to mind boggling investigations. Thank you to everyone who made the week, and the Science Fair on Friday such a success again: all of our children were able to experience science in ways that are above and beyond the usual curriculum.  Mrs Watts has lead science in our school in a way that allows all of our children to experience the awe and wonder of science, brings her passion and vision to Science Week and the Science Fair.
