Kindness Campaign Assembly

On Friday 7th March, one of our USF schools St Mary’s hosted an assembly run by the Kind Campaign. 

This assembly was designed for girls; Kind Campaign is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation that brings awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of the conflict and aggression that can exist within girl relationships.

Miss White and Mrs Phillips took our year 6 girls and our female MHA. They have now started to work with Mrs Phillips to incorporate this message within our already established role as Mental Health Ambassadors, spreading the word about the importance of kind words and actions and supporting other girls to do the same.

Science Week 2026

Last week we celebrated our annual Science Week, and WHAT A WEEK IT WAS! The children, from preschool to Year 6, were immersed in science learning for the week, both in and out of school, and were able to experience science first hand, in ways that normally would only happen in museums and pupil science events!  From trips to VR Headset experiences; animal encounters to parent and community scientist visits and experiments; from research around our school grounds to mind boggling investigations. Thank you to everyone who made the week, and the Science Fair on Friday such a success again: all of our children were able to experience science in ways that are above and beyond the usual curriculum.  Mrs Watts has lead science in our school in a way that allows all of our children to experience the awe and wonder of science, brings her passion and vision to Science Week and the Science Fair.
